Program Details

Break the Barriers offers group fitness classes in a welcoming environment for people of all abilities and fitness levels. Our friendly fitness class members socialize, encourage, and support each other during workouts, so no need to worry about feeling out of place.  Fitness classes combine aerobic and strength training in a dynamic and adaptable class. Using chairs, mats, and walls, we adapt and modify workouts to benefit the individual needs of everyone. *You must be 16 or older to join/participate. If you are 16-17 years old, you must have an adult with you.

Water aerobics takes place in spring and summer, utilizing our outdoor heated pool and a large ramp into the pool for easy accessibility. Water aerobics helps build muscle strength and increases movement without joint pain. All ability levels are welcome!

Fees are due at the time of registration. All fees are non refundable and no credit can be given. Does not apply to classes through Central Valley Regional Center or Self Determination.

Once the referral has been processed, you will receive a call from Break the Barriers regarding day and time of the class, as well as any further forms that will be needed.

To participate in our programs, first check with our office staff for class availability by calling (559) 432-6292, then fill out the Child Liability Waiver (for students under 18yrs) or the Adult Liability Waiver (for students 18yrs+).
